JOB POSTING: Relationship Manager, Seedcopa
Seedcopa has an excellent opportunity for a motivated financial professional as a Relationship Manager (RM). This individual will be responsible for developing business and relationships with financial institutions, professional corporations such as CPA’s/Accountants, Attorneys, and Commercial Real Estate Professionals, as well as directly to the small business owners. Through these relationships, the RM makes loans to business owners, giving them the access to capital that they need. Loans are offered through Federal, State and Local programs.
In addition to the development of referral relationships, the RM will interview business loan applicants, gathering a basic application package of information and summarize the loan request or needs. To be effective in this role, the candidate will generate qualified referrals through an organized calling program and involvement in community activities, with the focus on achieving the annual production goal. Skills needed for success in this position include superior communication, the capability to work independently, and the commitment to develop a network needed to achieve sales goals.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years sales experience in the financial services industry. Experience specific to Small Business Administration (SBA) lending and/or commercial credit lending would be beneficial. A college degree is preferred. Upon learning about the corporation and its history, the candidate will have the ability to outline an intended, organized calling program critical to the success of the position.
