Industry Partnerships and Workforce Development
CCEDC, in partnership with numerous strategic organizations, has developed and implemented five Industry partnerships (IPs) to serve Chester County and the region. IPs are public/private collaborative or “workforce intermediaries” driven by the private sector to address common overlapping business and human capital needs.
The IPs leverage the resources of the partners from industry, economic and workforce development, and education to help address common industry challenges such as incumbent worker training, recruiting and hiring, career preparation of future workers, accessing business financing and resources, and developing innovative responses to emerging trends and opportunities.
