In August 2015 the Environmental Protection Agency announced final rules for the Clean Power Plan, a nationwide policy that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the electricity generation sector by 30%. Each state has a specific target, and Pennsylvania’s goals call for reducing emissions 32% below 2012 levels by 2030.
Join us on October 23rd for a fact-based conversation on how Pennsylvania will meet these goals. Our esteemed panel will speak to the potential state plan process, general schedule for the Clean Power Plan, big picture of electric power in Pennsylvania, the major potential policy issues being analyzed, and economic development opportunities for energy industry stakeholders and the business community.
