The Nuts & Bolts of Buying a Business: What to Know Before You Purchase an Existing Business

The Kutztown University Small Business Development Center, in partnership with SeedcoPA, SeedcoDE, and the SBA Eastern Pennsylvania District Office, will host an in-person workshop designed for individuals interested in purchasing an existing business.
This session will walk participants through the fundamentals of business acquisition, including evaluating opportunities, understanding financials, navigating financing options, and identifying key due diligence considerations. Attendees will gain practical insights into what to expect before, during, and after the purchase process, along with guidance on available technical assistance and lending resources.
This workshop is ideal for aspiring business owners, entrepreneurs exploring acquisition as a growth strategy, and individuals seeking to better understand the process of buying an existing business.
