If talent is a company’s most important asset, then the quality of any company’s recruiting function is tantamount to its success, since recruiting drives the acquisition and selection of talent. Simply put: the better the recruiting function; the better the talent we acquire. At this session, Harry Griendling will share some of the lessons he has learned about creating world-class recruiting functions from the 300-plus companies he has served over his 30 year career as a Recruitment Consultant.
Attendees will learn:
- The critical requirement for greatness in any job that most companies fail to screen for in reviewing resumes
- How to link recruiting to business outcomes so that you become a highly valued talent advisor to the business
- How to assess the whole human being, not just the resume
- How to tell world-class talent from simply very good talent
- Why good recruiting is more than simply filling jobs
Each attendee will be given the opportunity to participate in a whirlwind Speed Practice Interviewing session after the presentation. If interested in this segment of the presentation, please be sure to check the appropriate box on the registration form. The CCEDC’s Industry Partnerships of Healthcare, Information Technology, Life Sciences and Manufacturing will be supporting this event.
