Pennsylvania Agriculture Breakfast Briefing
Pennsylvania’s agriculture industry yields an impressive $135.7 billion annual economic impact and employs nearly 580,000 Pennsylvanians. With over 1,700 operating farms in Chester County alone, Southeast PA’s rich agricultural heritage is a significant contributor to the commonwealth’s ag assets.
Join us for a breakfast briefing to discuss the economic impact of agriculture, and the industry’s future in the Keystone state. Team Pennsylvania will present findings of the “PA Agriculture: A Look at the Economic Impact and Future Trends” report alongside private-sector members of the PA Ag Advisory Board, who will discuss their involvement in advancing the industry towards the report’s 6 strategic recommendations.
Agriculture’s landscape is evolving, yet it remains a strong economic development opportunity in the commonwealth. We welcome you to join the conversation for Chester County!
