CCEDC Featured in Chester County Life Magazine

We are thrilled to be featured in the September/October edition of Chester County Life Magazine, which just hit newsstands this month!
“Over a hearty breakfast late in 1959 at Paoli Pancake House, a political leader, an executive, a banker, and an industrialist, through dissimilar in background, were united in pride and optimism for their home region steeped in history, rich with farmland, and poised for expansion. these leaders, known as the Council, were U.S. Representative John H. Ware III; Donal N Givler, President of Grocery Store Products; H. Fred Miller, President of Paoli National Bank; and Stewart Huston, Vice President and Secretary of Lukens Steel Company. The Following year Chester County Development Council was incorporated. Its current name, Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), came later to emphasize economic pursuits.
Waxing through the next five decades, success stimulated success as individuals, small companies, and major corporations blossomed thanks to support from CCEDC. Triumphs too numerous to list include The Vanguard Group and QVC, among the largest organizations; Walmoore Holsteins, a West Grove-based dairy farm. CTDI, a multinational telecommunications giant; and Y-Prime, innovator of software for pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.”
