Women-run Start-ups Want to Simplify Your Life

Last week, three women-run start-ups received kudos at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco:

“The annual TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco this week was a haven for all things innovation. Dozens of startups pitch, and a pool of judges, including investors, engineers and even Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, decide which are the most promising and potentially profitable.

Several of those startups were led or co-founded by women, including the startup that took first prize at the event. Here’s a look at what three of them brought to the table, and why they might just be on to something big.”
