The Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) has announced the election of nine new board members. They include: Jim Danna, Senior Vice President, WSFS.; Denny Howell Sr., President, Howell Engineering; Lauren Ranalli, President & CEO, First Resource Bank; Susan Springsteen, CEO, H2O Connected; Brian Stocker; Vice President, Human Resources, West Pharmaceuticals; Kevin Traynor, President & COO, JGM; Mark Whitlow, Laborers’ Local 413 Organizer for Laborer’s District Council of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washinton and Vicinity serves as chair of the Chester County Workforce Development Board; CJ Witherspoon, Founder, 3 Spoons; and Kevin Wong, General Manager for Emergent Solutions who services as Chair of the Smart Energy Initiative. Each board member will serve a three-year term that became effective July 1, 2025, and will conclude on June 30, 2028.
The Chester County Economic Development Council’s board of directors leadership includes board chairman, Michael J. Hankin, Chief Operating Officer at Hankin Group; First Vice Chair, Dr. R. Lorraine (Laurie) Bernotsky, Ph.D., President of West Chester University; Treasurer, Michael A. Bray, Assistant Professor of Practice, Management & Operations at Villanova University; and Secretary, James E. Turner, Director of Business and Community Relations at Chester Water Authority.
In welcoming the new board members, Mike Grigalonis, President & COO, Chester County Economic Development Council, said their experience “will bring exactly the expertise needed to accelerate economic growth in Chester County.
