Working in partnership with Vista.Today, CCEDC launced the ConNext initiative after the inaugural class of VISTA Millennial Superstars in February 2020. ConNEXT aims to nurture these elite individuals by integrating them into opportunities that will enable them to impact and influence business and social growth in Chester County .
Key topics that have developed from the first few meetings include affordable housing, the cost of childcare, public transportation, and more. The members were then tasked with describing the problems, identifying stakeholders, and providing solutions. In light of COVID-19, the group has shifted their focus to two issues: how to help families and small businesses during the pandemic and how to make Chester County more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
